ftp upload

I've had the same problem several times. On contact to P5 they once said that it was caused by their hard drive being full before being transfered to main server and processor. Could this be the problem? Maybe the pipeline into P5 is just not up to a few dozen ftp's in at the same time. I don't think when it has happened with me that it is on my end, something at P5. Best of luck to ya'll

We rent servers dynamically to process clips and handle upload. I've asked the support of this place about this and even given them a trace dump but got no answer except from others having the same problem. Today I was going to try some other things but I couldn't reproduce the problem. Perhaps it is fixed now.

Hmmm, acting up again for me today, seems to only upload one file then stops instead of moving on to the next.

Just noticed that after a file has completed uploading this appears in my ftp log
"550 Can't check for file existence"

Ftp connection still stays live

That if probably because of your ftp program. The upload server moves the file immediately after upload. This is probably in the gray zone of how the ftp spec want things to be done.

We usually recommend http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/ with good result. Would you mind giving that a shot?

I'm using Cyberduck (Filezilla is not for mac) and everytime I finished an upload, it gives an error: error read time out.
Then I just click cancel, but still, the clips go online...
Something strange
