Sony HVRV1U ?

I would very much like to hear about people's experience working with Sony's HDV cam model HVRV1U. So if you own one or have worked with it I would be grateful to know what you think about it compared to other similar brands and models.

Pretty good camera. We use it for the 24p look. Not quite as well laid out as the z-1u. We have both. Overall it's a great HDV choice.
