Does anyone know why Pond5 is called Pond5?

Why not Pond4 or Pond3?

As a relatively newbie author, i just thought it would be interesting to find out.

Any ideas anyone?

I don't know, but I do know there are some really poorly named stock agencies out there. Pond5 is quite nice.

Because in pond 5 is where the fishes bite.

Well ... it was going to be Palm 5 representing a hand with five fingers. Then a few beers later ..... ;)

Maybe represents the five Oceans in the world and again after a few beers they though they were Ponds?
