For the idea +1, i've the same problem to find correct translations from german. But it last it would stretch the review times more dramatically. So i think it's better our job, but the curator should be allowed to add keywords or to give us notes about that.

Many times buyers are not native english speakers so they maybe use google like you do....
I think that be too "english" on keywording not always helps....

Languish is and will always be a problem. The reality is that I don't submit to Russian or Chinese agencies that require that I would use Russian or Chinese. With an agency that is English based the artists should hire someone who knows the language to keyword or describe for them. Far too many non-English artists blindly copy and paste descriptions and keywords resulting in extreme spam that hurts all of us. If P5 decides to make a translation capability that is ok but IMHO there are far more important issues that need fixing. Marketing and cleaning up spam needs to be a far higher priority. Getting reviews done in a reasonable amount of time as P5 was originally established. I'm very thankful P5 is here in the US and is English, I would not want to have to learn Russian or Chinese to use it. I guess the final thought is this is business and sometimes things like language just excludes some people who want to play. Helping all artists is a goal but let's get P5 back to the quick response and great communication that helped make P5 number one.

Don, you did not see the main point: a keywording service would help you too, not only the non English submitters, it would give all of us more free time to shoot/edit/upload, it would prevent others from copying your keywords, it would exclude the spam keywords. I can only understand that you prefer all the disadvantages for the sake of limiting the access and searchability of non English submitters clips, that is for limiting your competitors only. Let P5 decide which are its priorities. P5 is a community made up of submitters and buyers from all around the world. P5 is not Don.

As a side note, I cannot refrain from noting that I have been unscrupulously and constantly attacked numerous times and still am by a limited group of US American submitters.
