To do or not to do?

Hi, everybody. I need an advice. Do you make a postproduction for your footage before uploading? Thanks

There used to be a time where one would only upload the original footage as is. However, in today's world, if you deem it necessary to color correct, grade or whatever, it seems to be appreciated by many buyers. Some buyers are more post production savvy than others and prefer to have adjustment space. It really is up to you to decide. I have spoken with several buyers on this question and it seems to be a 50/50 split on opinion as to which they prefer.

Try to shoot so that you can upload without any modification, but definitely "fix" anything that's wrong (for me that's usually white balance).

Agree with MidWest - correct for sales interest of the viewer only. Don't overwork the footage. Firstly, probably not worth it in terms of ROI. Secondly, put your energy into finding the best thumbnail possible - that will give you better results.
