No problem: Create 12 volts. Best way I can recommend is get a quadcopter (like a Phantom sized) 12 volt LiPO battery, from any hobby shop, wire it up to a 12 volt "cigarette lighter" adapter, get a 2.1 amp USB car adapter and plug it in. You will have power for a long, long time. There are other ways, but this one is very small, and very robust, as well as made of readily available components. Part of the cool thing about this method is that you can change out the battery while shooting if needed (for those week-long time lapse shots...) not that I've ever had to go longer than a few hours.

@dapoopta, apps must be downloaded from the sony website via the camera wi-fi connection.
