Description character limit???

YGTBSM. So now there is a "You are over the 500 character limit" with no character counter to tell us where we are on characters. Do we really need another change that takes more time from us to do our job?

For years when I and many other have a sale we go and check and edit the sold clips to correct and improve it's data. So now it's impossible to do a simple keyword, description or price change on old clips that may have more than 500 characters. This is nuts!

Ya'll really need to "grandfather" old clips for edits also. We don't have time to completely re-word descriptions on clips that have already been accepted when we need to change the price or other simple edits. If they are approved allow simple edits Please.

Please stop making changes that are making it more difficult and frustrating for Artists. PLEASE.

For hecks sake, do we as Artists still have to suffer from inefficiency due to taken away great features?

Why in the heck don't ya put a character counter or character limit on the Template. Now the inefficient Template accepts more than 500 characters and when attaching them to the footage it will not use the template if more than 500 characters used. Come-on guys. Why all the half thought out changes. The dang Template function is now a nightmare!

Please fix the template to make it useable and PLEASE bring back the Batch Tag capability. It's an easy fix and should have been fixed within minutes. Arghhhhhhhh. These changes are making it difficult and very time consuming .... a once fast, easy system is now becoming a nightmare at best.

The good ole days when an Artist made a suggestion and Marcus would have it implemented within an hour. Now we just keep losing capability with on going promises that never seem to happen. From one of the original Artists ... this is very frustrating!

well said. This is madness and i can see no reason for it. The page itself that presents a file - usually music in my case has so much blank space,so it is not as if the font size has increased or anything to have a reason to change the text limit. I went to increase the price of a file - after 20 minutes of trying to reword it i gave up and left it. I carefully word these descriptions to try make it easier for the client and increase sales - with less space to do so these features within the description will have to go. Ahhhhhhhhhhh indeed

I wonder if we are lowered in the search because of older files that have more than 500 characters. Also I can no longer place links at the bottom of my listing. Like new music and so on. I started doing this after I was told by pond5 that my page looked nice. So now I can't edit my old tracks because of this along with the 500 character limit. I don't plan on updating if this will not effect my search.

You can see what im talking about.

I dont think so RD my older stuff still sell, and anyway i wouldn't worry about thinks i cant see and measure anyway.

Whats even worse in this latest scenario is that you can't edit descriptions and keywords in older files that have had html links and other elaborate stuff in the description, you have to delete all these html stuff to save the page, and while some of my older files would definitely need better description and keywords im not going to correct this out of sheer respect to the hours of work i spent to make collections, arrange them, and make an interesting description for people to see.
