As for longer lenses not working on the X5 ... this just copied off the X5 thread on RCGroups - (quote from user rbendjebar)

That stuff is a mixed bag. Great to have a robot to do my bidding though. Heavy, a little quirky, and has a few flaws, but can be really useful. Believe it or not I want to use a gimbal on it in some cases ... it's easy to make the camera move in the right way, but not always easy to keep it level.
