CES 360 camera hype

The last year and now at the CES 360 camera is a big hype. Like 3D was a few years ago. I see little value in what is captured other than a gee wiz for Facebook or YouTube bragging. I've looked at the top contender web sites and their example videos; distorted as expected. I just don't see why the hype other than as a toy.

What do ya'll think? A winner or loser?

This nikon looks like a horrible camera. there is a huge visible stitch between the two cameras.

Not many people will buy it, like lot of prototype of new cars, they are good to look at, but never go to production.
