Stupid rejection reasons...

Maybe clouds are an over saturated subject...that's probably the rejection reason..

Just had a whole bunch of batches reviewed, what was interesting about this review by Curator 73 is that all events and concert clips at those events got rejected for "pond5 no longer accepts any sporting event" but one batch got rejected for "pond 5 does not accept any live performances". There was no sports on stage period.
I guess the new and revised rules are now no sports and no music or performances even at small community events, parades, etc. probably copyright related stuff.
A few others rejected for my poor command of the English language but a few clips did get accepted this time around.

Here's my theory: the curators have a target acceptance rate, let's say 20%. So, for my next test batch I upload 2 real clips, and 8 short and similar clips of my dog licking his wee wee. My only fear is that they'd pick the wrong two clips!

I think you are bang on, their performance metrics are measured like a goalie in hockey, by how many they keep out not by how many they let in.
I've recently had tons of clips rejected as they no longer meet the new higher standards and the one clip they let in was out of focus and I bumped the camera while shooting it, shouldn't have uploaded it but I didn't see it....it got accepted.
This latest review makes no sense at all, it worries me though because some of the stuff rejected is related to a game that is red hot right now and could sell, 100% rejection of those clips. Not to mention the time and fuel costs spent all through July gathering stuff each day only to find out it no longer meets the new higher standards but they REFUSE to tell me what I am doing wrong or how I can do better to try and meet the new standards, they refuse to comment on that point and that tells me it isn't about standards.

Anyone getting anything past the curators these days? They still REFUSE to tell me what I am doing wrong and why my content no longer meets the new higher standards other than to say it no longer meets the new higher standards.
100% acceptance a the two other sites but unfortunately sales over there are not even close to sales here at P5.

This applies to still images too. This, and others, I'm told is "too blurry".
Cannot find item [65179054]!
If it was any sharper, I'd cut myself.
Then, to add insult to injury, it's "suggested" I examine my images at 100% before uploading.
Really? Gee, thanks guys, I would never have thought of that! (Yes that was sarcasm).
17 submitted, 4 accepted, after 16 days. Elsewhere, all except one accepted after 48 hours.

Well I am very pleased to report I just hard a large batch reviewed and it was very fair this time, I would say 75% accepted?, the ones rejected....fair call on those. Nice to see.
