How does the search visibility work?

I'm still a bit bewildered when it comes to pond5 audio search visibility. When I look at my portfolio and the view / sales counts of the tunes, for some reason many tunes that have quite similar tagging and descriptions tend to vary in views very much. Some tunes might have over 200 views while others have 0-3. I just don't have any idea how I could make the 0-3 view tunes work in the same way as the 200 view tunes.

Does anybody have any insight? Or is it also mainly random / luck based thing?

I think curators put tags/ratings depending on how much they like stuff. Another possible variable to confound and confuse.

Oh, that would explain it yes. But yeah, would be a source of great confusion as well...

i had no idea the curators did that, thanks for the info

I don't see the point in that. If the track is not up to scratch there's no point in accepting it and then giving it such a low rating no one will ever find it. Better to just reject it.

actually i'd say its more to do with the ones that have got good sales are going to move up the pond 5 rankings. sales bring sales as the saying goes. don't forget its a 50/50 split library so if you're making money they are also making money.
