Membership vs No membership

Someone please help me to understand the advantages of the membership as it relates to copyright material.

So, I desire to buy footage from this website for commercial use. Am I only protected from copyright copyright infringement claims, if I purchase footage POND5's membership?

Makes no different. RF is RF. Follow the P5 guidelines for copyright and everything is same. If you think that you might have a copyright infringement then probably shouldn't be using an RF clip. Ultimately, the buyer is responsible to ensure the clip is used appropriately. This is not legal advise.
