Ole trusty VLC plays it... but not Quicktime... guess it's too backward for 4K 10bit 422... come on, Apple!

Yeah, I see its in stock and ready to ship on B&H's website.
Jake, Can you verify that right now it will record internally 4.2.2 10bit at 4k?
Or is that the firmware upgrade sometime in April?

Can anyone comment on battery life?
It has been written in several posts on the web that it only last for 400 clicks (!!!).
I do a lot of timelapses with the GH4 and a battery charge lasts me around 5,000 shots

It can't last as long as on the GH4 with the in-body stabilizer and the much more powerful processor/funtions but should be ok. I heard people were shooting all day with 2 batteries fine. (not constantly, of course)

Glad to say the Metabones Speedbooster seems to work fine with my Canon 70-200 f4 on the GH5. (don't remember if I have the Ultra or XL, by the way- it doesn't say!)

The Metabones in my GH4 works with every lens, but I believe you loose image stabilisation, autofocus and metadata, right?

The MB Speedbooster was not supposed to work wth the GH5 until after a software update for the Booster, I read. The Canon 70-200 f4 has IS built in but I turned it off because it doesn't communicate with the GH5 body and I'd rather use the in-body IS. Autofocus and metadata you lose yes.
