WARNING Windows 10 Anniversary Update

A couple nights ago I updated my main PC with the WIn 10 Anniversary update. Don't do it!

Spent three hours getting it updated. The next morning after initial boot to desktop it freezes everytime. After spending four hours on the phone to Microsoft and letting them take control of the computer in Safe Mode they got it working. They had to make a new sign-in user. Of course this loses all your password, bookmarks, e-mails etc etc etc. Microsoft called back today and spent another couple hours and we was able to retrieve most of the old user data.

So if you update and make a new user sign-in do not delete the old sign-in until your know everything works. What a pain and wasted two days.

Microsoft was very helpful. It sounds like certain manufacturer system fail and others work good. Mince is a Dell so be careful.
