I like that the Andoer slider has a panning option ... that's pretty trick. Wonder how robust it is.

I think there are a lot of good sliders. Problem is most if not all manually pushed sliders takes a lot of practise to make it smooth and consistent. JUst like the gimbels that few people can make them as smooth as the marketing videos.
If a person is serious a smooth motor drive is mandatory.
So who has a great slider with a motor drive? Give us the plus and minus, why or why not.

Noone mentioned Dynamic Perception yet? FWIW I'm quite happy with mine.

Definitely worth a mention for portability: Dynamic Perception System 1. Breaks down very small and light. Complexity of setup (needs to be assembled from smallness) and the fact that they poo pooed my complaints about the BUMP in between sections (the aluminium threaded caps were not as precise as they could have been) and the delicate nature of the exposed carbon fiber rods ... as well as the very rudimentary "tension" knob that basically introduced more chatter and vibration ... other than that I'd have LOVED to keep it. In fact I still have three motors and the motion controllers for future robotics components.
The Edelkrone slider is already heavy, but exceedingly smooth. With the supplied strap, there is no center bump. If you add the toothed belt, you MUST keep the slider carriage at one end or the other, or it develops a nasty bump visible whether handheld or motorized (if you keep the carriage in the middle). Add in the motion control for the Edelkrone ... it is really neat, and very portable, unless you are hiking .. it is a serious chunk ... and the biggest downside is that the Target Module is imprecise ... so it does not start tracking until AFTER your Action Module has completed the ramp in to your move. So the shot does not start with ramp in. Also, the Macro Mode on the Action Module is very precise, BUT ... if you think to add the Target Module in, at very slow speeds you can see the stepping, which is not so good ... at all.
The Kessler Cineslider needs not be mentioned in a Travel Sliders thread, but, for the sake of cpmpetion, I will. Wow .. .massive stability, and motion control powerful enough to drag my FS700 with Odyssey 7Q+ on the carriage up a 45 degree slope (the slower motor could do more, likely, but I have not tried. NOT as smooth as Edelkrone. BETTER braking/tension system. Second Shooter is both more precise and less ... just in different ways than Edelkrone. The Parallax rail was actually redesigned partially due to some complaints from me ... it is way better, but, at higher focal lengths, you can still see an added jiggle. They told me sliders are not supposed to be used for macro or high focal lengths ... I call BS ... the Edelkrone can do that!
So basically, there is no end all be all slider/system. You will likely pay for portability with jiggles and imprecision, and ass you add motion control, and stability, you add weight and size.
I am really quite interested in that http://www.tomtop.com/video-sliders-325/p-d3717.html over the Edelkrone ... I like the linear mode too. I would use it with my RX100m4, so weight will not be a factor. This would make a TRUE travel slider.

I thought this was a pretty cool DIY that looked like it can be customized easily for travel, as well as being highly modifiable and good design to boot. The rails could be made short, and joined together with turned PVC to join them ...

Sorry for the 3 week bump but my slider arrived, I put together a short video in my dorm room after I'd been down the pub. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U65M7Zh6Zk
