Is it allowed to append alpha channel to the normal clip, so that clip and alpha is in 1 file, first normal clip followed by the alpha.
I seem to have problems with the animation codec, I can't see, that this codec supports alpha channel.

It doesn't, at least not the way that pond5 requires it. I've been messing with it for months and it looks like this site is never gonna get out of beta and never implement any of the stuff they've promised.

Seti, sorry, looks like your question was passed over when you posted.
The Animation codec DOES support alpha channels, and Pond5 will accept Animation codec clips with alpha.
You can also append a seperate alpha matte clip if you prefer. To do this, use the "attach" (paperclip) icon next to the clip on your Uploads page.
Dnavarrojr, chill out. We're about to launch out of beta at the end of this week. You can currently check out a preview of the 1.0 by clicking on the link in the post in the artist's forum. Also, if you are having problems uploading alpha-enabled clips, please let us know - we haven't run into any problems in the past.
