good call James. I only stay with the lower end codec.... didn't see any gain in the higher end stuff... besides filling hard drives a little quicker.

I still do not know if ProRes sells more or is preferred over Photojpeg.

It makes little difference. Content is what really matters. Some folks I know are making ProResHQ for storage, and uploading h.264. I'm likely to jump on that bandwagon ... but I would certainly offer ProRes version for those who buy the h.264 .... if they wanted it. Most are already buying the h.264 downsized from ProRes4K already .. .so ...

I agree, neither frame rate nor codec seem to matter THAT much. But of course, ProRes can be 10-bit which is not insignificant when it comes to editing. So it makes sense to upload ProRes (HQ) when you make timelapses (from RAW images) or film in 10-bit or RAW. That's what a lot of pros want.
