Using an animated logo and sound effect from Pond 5 on Youtube

I am interested in buying a logo intro for my YouTube channel and also a sound effect to go with it.
Is this allowed if I want to monetize my video through Adsense?
The reason why I am asking is because I have read that for music this is not allowed: apparently buying a music clip as RF does not give permission to be used on YT, as I would not own the exclusive right
