FTP failure - 11 files successful now unable to re-connect

Lats three lines in log show:
Command: PASS **********
Response: 530 Authentication failed.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to serverfollowing three #
Using correct pasword, username and ftp.pond5.com as host, advised in upload section of Pond 5 site.
Any current issues need to know about. Should I try agfain later?
