Upload 'processing failed'

This has become a standard- out of the 40 uploaded clips, 10 of them had 'errors during processing'. After all the hard work, this is more work we really don't need and shouldn't be necessary...

I use FTP exclusively with no problems - my experience is that the Pond5 upload program fails 99% of the time.

I just uploaded 100+ photos and only one failed. So far Pond 5 seems to be the easiest site to use out of the 20 sites i use

I've discovered that it helps to simply rename the file. Give it a shorter name. For some reason, long file names lead to 'errors during processing' - regardless of the actual material.

Renaming a file is the development teams workaround for clips that failed during uploading. Renaming clip is not necessary but you will get a meaningless duplication message just ignore the message.

So, if a file sits in Uploads with "Scheduled for Processing" while everything "Around it" completes (even batches uploaded later) what do we do? Email support?

Reupload with a different name.

I have had clips that simply were not processed but instead of going through all the trouble of changing names I just re-uploaded the clip. Of course, you will get a duplication message which is meaningless as it doesn't stop one from tagging and sending it in for review.

Thanks Jason, I'll give that a try.
