Hi,
A track of mine (normally priced 39$), has just been sold for 68.29$ as Business License
Under Licensing Information it says that Business Licenses cost +150$... so I'm confused how did the buyer get the license for around 20$ more (+50% of the regular price)?
Any insights much appreciated.
Thanks

I've recently had this also. I had a look through the contributor agreement and it says Pond5 can deduct any legal fees and discounts from the addition money.

Thanks for your comment DanielSheen. It's actually +75%, my mistake.
Wondering what for would those legal fees be...
Just tad confused as 30$ instead of 150$ for an extended license sounds like big difference!
Otherwise, I'm very happy with Pond5 so far.

My guess is it's a discount rather than legal fees as Pond5 are likely to offer discounts to the type of customer that requires business licenses to get them to use Pond5. It says in the contributor agreement Pond5 take 50% of the additional $155 too so the maximum you could get from a business license is an additional about $70. I got an extra $14.70 from my sale. It would be nice if they actually said what the deductions were!
