@ pvreditor,

Lumix's PHOTOfunSTUDIO is so popular it cannot be found online. Now a better program would be Davinci Resolve 15 which is also a free download. I have an earlier version of Devinci but prefer Adobe CC even though it isn't free as my sales cover the cost.

Jason, PHOTOfunStudio is a free download that you get when you buy a Panasonic GH5... at least in the US. I have (and use) the free version of DaVinci Resolve, but the GH5's 10-bit 4:2:2 files will not play in the free version. You have to upgrade to the paid version of DaVinci Resolve to view 10-bit 4:2:2 files.

Meanwhile, I now have a year's subscription to Adobe Premier CC, which also will play the GH5's 10-bit 4:2:2 files.

All that said, if I trim a file in Premier or Resolve, it will be re-encoded when I output it. With PHOTOfunSTUDIO, it simply snips the bits and re-wraps the file in an MOV wrapper. It doesn't actually re-encode, so there is no encoding loss or errors. Or so I understand.
