Need help with planning a project?

Is there documentation or something some where that would help me learn a little bit about planning a simple video?

Are you asking about shooting a stock video? Do you have some idea of what you want to shoot? I do a lot of wildlife stuff, short clips of birds, butterflies, animals and insects. I also like to get shots of people doing things, such as flipping food on a grill, hiking in the woods, working on a car, etc. It takes little or no planning for these... just pick up the camera and start shooting.

The first video I sold on Pond5 was a butterfly on an orange flower. I just went to a park where there was a lot of flowers and butterflies, and started shooting. I don't get a lot of sales, but I do sell now and then. I figure the more files I have, the more likely I am to get sales.
