More sales - more percent income

Now we have 50% for all.
Why not 40% for poor guy, 60% for cool guy?

Or we could let the government redistribute the wealth minus the new taxes and license fees.

Are you saying the more an artist contributes to P5 the higher the percent? Or are you saying that after a predetermined payout then the percent should go up? Something like SS does, after $3000 payout the for each photo sold goes up from .30 cents to .33 cents?

Since it's 50% now, whatever you're suggesting wouldn't work with dropping anyone's percentage to 40%. You would have a lot of pissed off people.

It would have to be 50% and up. Don't know if Pond5 could do that and sustain it's business.

Here's a suggestion.... how about developing your craft MORE and create content that NO ONE ELSE has done before.... you know, original material that has a priceless value to it..... then YOU could charge what you wanted at 50% as it is now.... seeing that you'd have a 'one of a kind' piece of content.... that might be in MASS demand.....

that way.... you gain without everyone else having to take a hit..... how's THAT for an innovative concept to developing one's business !!!
