Hummmm might hurt the canon market. It sure took them a long time to finally catchup. Too bad so many old Nikon guys sold their lenses and moved to Canon. No price yet? Probably not cheap like 5D MKII.

Wow! Things are changing so fast. Will this camera need special lenses to avoid dark areas or deformities at the edge of the photo?

Yup a real challenge to 5D. Maybe that is why Cannon has delayed releasing it.

@SevArt, I would wait for more reviews on video quality before buying. It is known that sometimes these companies use footage from other cameras and present them as their own.

@LUXORPYRAMID No rush yet! Of course I will wait for more info, tests...

The video was not really much of a depiction of quality. Not a lot of pans or tilts to show how it controls rolling shutter. Not a lot of large objects moving through frame to show if they distort. I like Nikon, but I would still wait a little longer, or rent one first and see what I think.

Which is better for video a very high pixel count or the pixel (size) surface area? More pixels per square millimeter or less pixels per square millimeter? A 1920x1080 sensor the size of 35 mm film or a 19200x10800 sensor the size of a 35 mm film? Do not answer, I am thinking out loud.
