5D MIII vs EOS 6D

So really no comparison ... I really do like the idea of a gps. What I wish they would do is allow a USB tether between older cameras and a stand-alone gps that saved on exif. Seems like Nikon and Canon has kinda hit a plateau ... nothing new or exciting coming other integration of old or other technologies.

Agree. Most of the big difference is in the autofocus system, and I don't use those so...

I later noticed the lack of CF card slot and that is a downer.

The single CF card slot is on the cameras right side. There photos of the 6D to right of the review

Strange, it says single SD card in the review. If it was less expensive it would be a great TL camera, but at the current price I am not sure I would go for a lesser camera.

Then go with the 1D.

I still use the MK II and MK III. The MK II is a very capable camera still.

Seems like the 6D isn't getting all the great reviews it looked like it was going to get. The 5D MK II and III is still the better quality photos and videos.

I´m maybe crazy, but after reading lot of reviews about the 6D I finally decided to buy myself a brand new Canon 5D MkIII and a 24-70mm f2.8 L II lens!
Cost me a lot of money but you live only once :)
