Sold vs uploaded

Someone needs to explain the difference between sold and uploaded. There are several people who have uploaded videos recently that are not really sold. They were just uploaded here. They are trying to draw attention to their videos anyway they can.
A waste of time and space and dishonest as well.

Don"t worry about those people...there aren't buyers on this forum,they won't sell any clips posting here...

It's annoying that's for sure and spamming the forums.
But not sure how it could be called dishonest.
Just like all the other forum posts, last sold, highest priced sold etc. It's all in the time people want to spend here. Does it account for sales? Probably not.

If it wasn't really sold and is just a vain attempt for attention, to me, that's dishonest. IMO.

Are you talking about the 'Just Approved' post, because I've only recently just started to put up a few of my 'Just Approved' Footage files. The reason I asked is because I've only been putting footage onto Pond for a few months, and I don't want to give the idea I am spamming or to look dishonest. Many thanks

No one is talking about the just approved. At least I wasn't.
We're talking about the times where people start their own thread and add a dozen of their just uploaded video.
That to me is spamming and if everyone here did that the forums would be a mess and totally useless.

I was also talking about "Just Sold" postings. Not "Just Approved." Those are fine and you should be proud of them.

How do you know that "Just Sold" clips are not sold?
