ClipBin suggestions

Hi!

I noticed here is a check-box to make ClipBins public and also ClipBins now are sorted alphabetically in listbox - Great!

I made some 10 ClipBins public. Can you write if it is possible to include a hyperlink to Clipbins and how? Or not yet?

Still I can enter duplicate names: 'Winter' and 'winter' - or name is case-sensitive?

Yes, for now you can do a search for...
clipbin:123
...where 123 is replaced by the clipid. If you tweak the output settings of the search results, you can just copy that URL when you're done. If you want to <iframe> the results or something, you can add &pf_fullscreen=1&ps=1 to the url to rid it of the logo and all that.

I added a direct link to search results of a bin on the edit_bins page, to the right of
Public: Yes [V] [?] Link to content

It is case-sensitive, yes.

I tried and it works - it is really Excellent!

Do you have a plan to include in 'Uploads => Edit' page some possibility to select ClipBin(s) and include that clip into selected ClipBin?

This works very well now: clicking on an icon in selected ClipBin opens that ClipBin.

And I need more :) Would it be possible to write some header on opened ClipBin page, because now page with selected clips has some cryptic text 'clipbin:1115' (instead of 'Animals'). You can configure the text to put as header after the search&q=clipbin:xxxx

My Artist page looks differently now and was very simple to congigure:

Hi!

I would like to have an option in ClipBin search string to display ONE randomly selected image from that ClipBin. Having such option, every time page is reloaded new image from that ClipBin is displayed.

Now the link "https://www.pond5.com/ja/index.php?page=search&q=clipbin:1115" opens all images in that ClipBin.

I don't understand; do you want:

a) the search result to be limited to one (randomized) item? If so, could I of pure interest ask why?

b) the icons on your artist page to be randomized, eg add a [rndbin 1115 4] thingie or something?

Can you explain what does it mean "rndbin 1115 4"? If it means: 'select 4 random clips from ClipBin #1115' then THIS is what I asked for. But please explain an exact script how to display them as ico n or a small or large preview?

a. It is not a search, but random selection of 1 clip from defined ClipBin.

b. In my Artist page I have a line with four clips from 'Animals' ClipBin. Clips are static all the time because I configured them manually:

You should see a "Bin icons" at the right. (a new button to the right of "Mailto" at the bottom)
