I haven't heard that great of things about the BM shuttle.
This is what I'm looking at investing in once the 4k hits for the fs700. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=963240&Q=&is=REG&A=details

I would love to see some sample footage of uncompressed raw 4:2:2 vs the h264 compression, so if someone gets an external recorder post your results here :)

There are several on Vimeo but really can't see a great deal since it's all re-compressed to Vimeo standards.

I think where it will shine is in color correcting and high motion.

I feel so sorry for those that spent 16K on Canon EOS C300.

Although I think the work the guys over at ML do is amazing I would be reluctant at this stage to rely on this camera / software combination for a paying gig! Also it is only 24FPS at the minute (unless things have changed recently) which will not work for everyone.
Having said that I have put down a deposit for the Blackmagic 4K camera and we have not seen a frame of footage from it yet! However when I get it I will test the cr*p out of it before I use it on anything important!

I don't own either camera, so I have no bias either way.
But, I'd rather buy and use a camera that was designed to shoot raw/4K rather than one that was "forced" to.
