Maybe for some specialized commercial or something like that. But mostly I don't see it affecting RF
But it does make me want to create more green screen work that can be incorporated in a PD video.

I agree with your Jake in almost all cases. PD black & white are a completely different product. Modern subject matter versus historical are different. But why mix free PD into RF searches? Make PD available but not always visible unless the buyer or borrower is specifically looking for PD. Bring them here for the PD library but the idea should be to quickly get the buyers into the RF searches.

I think the searches should be separate. I just don't think PD will affect RF in sales.

What would be detrimental is if PD files with multiple "sales" started getting preferential treatment in Best Match searches and started pushing RF clips down the search results.

Ya but the PD guy has cool aviation sunglasses ;) and you forgot to put your shoulder straps on and attach you parachute. But then again a good pilot is invincible and will not get shot down. LOL

His is a navy pilot over midway. Mine is a army pilot on secret recon.

The fact of the matter is my series of these videos have sold a hand full of times in two years. So why is that? Because there are PD videos available for free?
Maybe or maybe its because these videos are so specialized that there are only a hand full of buyers wanting them.
I really don't think about it. It costs me a few hours of fun to dress like a pilot and few more hours to get this looking halfway decent. I've gotten my money's worth out of it.

I do many period shoots. Now find some PD cowboy pulling his gun in a saloon.

Or mine may not have sold a lot because I didn't put the damn shoulder strap on.
