I don't recall any of my messages ABOVE mentioning anything about END OF THE WORLD so please read properly before you make nonsense comment, yes I do make plans based on pond5 payments day is not for you tell, this is a matter of principal , and stop comparing, comparison for the worst than it is now is a sign of weakness.

pond5 is obliged to tell us about technical problems which have a direct impact on contributors, but they don't the only tell us when we write endless messages here or when we contact them directly.

an email would be nice to inform us about any problems they have which is a direct impact on us all , I pay $1000s to pond5 that's right $1000''s

May be spend on credit is not a bad idea...

"pond5 is obliged to tell us about technical problems which have a direct impact on contributors"

You have not read Term and conditions may be. No one can guarantied any technical problem or any problem at all. We live in the new modern internet time, anything can happen.

I think you had a typing mistake, right? You did not pay Pond5 $1,000, or? Instead the opposite?

It is still not the end of the world yet.. LOL

It seems like you don't actually know what's going on.

1. I never said pond5 obliged to tell us about technical problems that hasn't happen yet !!!! what I said is when something does go wrong don't just ignore us and hoping we won't complain, send a template email to all generally mention about what's happening like the Paypal problem they say they are having, instead of us writing emails and post in forums ,,,

2. I don't know about you but when you sell on pond5 you pay %50 of your income to pond5, and just this month my sale was $2,906 and half of that which is the %50 pond5 Commission goes to them.

Do you get it now ? is very hard to explain to a kid.

I know this is a stress generating situation, but let's remember to be respectful to each other gang.

Believe me, if we could just flip a switch or make a phone call to fix it, we would. It's not that simple.

Yeah, I like Skrill/Moneybookers, I don't see as many problems with them. Though it does happen even with them from time to time. No payment processor is perfect, but PayPal is EASILY at the bottom of my list.

You commented on 16th Oct, one day after the payday. Jonathan answered you 2 hours later and informed you about problem with Paypal. That is pretty good response. And you don't like P5's communication, may be SS or IS are better for you. :)

BTW This is a business deal, you pay P5 50% of your earning to earn your 50%. Without this 50%, you earn Zero. IMO: This is not exactly so fair, but can't find another better deal. :D

I don't know I have to be honest with you I find it hard to believe that the problem is not PayPal.

dino75,

I presumed you are an ignorant old man, so I forgive you.

Say Ummmm... will help you through the next Paypal Payday. :)

hehe, lots of artist egos around here :))
btw, 50% of $2906 is not $1000, but $1453 :D

I am in the US and have had no problems with Paypal. Record keeping has been perfect. I really hope Pond5 doesn't stop using them as all my multiple business endeavor payments go through them.

@mark29 - Any big changes in our payout options will be announced ahead of time, so whatever happens, we'll make sure you all know. Our goal is to provide our artists with as many good, and reliable payout options as we can. What's important to us is that things like this don't happen, so we'll work to ensure that, however we have to.
