Time for a contest ... Get Ready

Submit it now but don't keyword "week2" or what ever week it is until that week. Do the normal keywording and when the week starts add the weekly keyword so it will show up for everyone to find it. Does that make sense?

I'm interested... so if I submit one today.. I will enter the keyword when that week rolls around? What if it isn't accepted by then?

week 4 should be emotion. I know that is a wide range of clips, but I think it would be a good one. (clips that are pushing it won't be accepted, ie a cat sitting on a window sill, when someone says that = sadness) If you have to justify your clip, it isn't a good one to submit :-)

Does only "real life footage" count, or can we submit animation?

For this weeks that started today put the keyword "week1" on a clip.

Prize suggestions...

Winner gets to pick one of their clips to be added to "curator's choice".

After enough entries get into the system, the top 10 clips from each week get added to a new clipbin that is part of the home page "Curator's Choice, Latest Uploads, Weekly Contest Winners".

Winner can choose "one" clip from the collection of anyone who enters and it will be emailed to them or and arrangement will be made to download it.

Pond5 sends out an email to all subscribers announcing the winner and providing profile information for the winner with links to their collection.

Winning clip pays no commission to Pond5 for a month (100% of each sale goes to artist).

I think video animation should be accepted...

Ok, two responses so for now yup, anything that is approved for sale on P5 can be part of the contest.
You can change clips anytime during the submission week. At the end of the week, midnight Sunday the clip that is submitted at that time is frozen. Please after the contest don't remove the weekly keyword, it'll be fun being able to go back and see how the contest prigressed.

Ok, I have my wildlife entry uploaded. I hope it gets accepted in time.

How about that. Mine lastest were just accepted and put online.
I did a search on "week1" and saw two other entries.
All I can say is I don't have a chance with mine against the cougar and zebras.
