Just searched for "solar heating" as I am going to upload a few clips of solar heating panels.
This xvp submitter has 95% of the clips the search returns and none could be described as having anything to do with "solar heating"
How long are P5 giving him/her to get his keywords in order?
I would be a bit p**sed off if I were a buyer to find all his/her clips returned in the search results !!

Ken, Yup and random animations of bright objects are a majority of "solar heating". where's the videos of solar panels, solar hot water heaters, solar technology, solar power plants? Animations are great but just too easy to call them anything the artist wants them to be.

Hey don't paint us all with that brush! A certain someone's clips come up no matter what you type in.

Hey Kenny there's no need to point out an artist by name in any thread other than FOR ARTIST ONLY THREAD, as customers read these forums and see us infighting. Beside P5 knows who it is and that artist has been given a warning notice.

Actually "solar and heating" comes up with the same 207 clips as "solar and heat" does. And in all fairness, I'd use "heat" and "solar" as well for an animation that has the sun (or sunflares) as the main subject.

...and I hope the day of the professional keyworders will come, once the total return is sufficiently good to make P5 think about another extra feature on this site :).

I too would use "heat" and "solar" as keywords for an animation that has the sun in it.
But there is an awful lot of clips that cannot possibly justify those keywords.

Lets hope Tom, Marcus and the team find a solution to keyword spamming as they have a great site going here and I would hate to see the buyers turned off by having irrelevant returns to their searches

When will stock sites keyword themselves?

When hell freezes over so until then get busy.

The sun yes, but a non-descript light in the heavens is not a sun. A bright light or annimated flash is not solar or heat. A animated explosion is an explosion not a fire, not solar not necessarily heat. I agree with kenny1 on this one. I know it is more difficult finding keywords for animations that are made up in an artists mind. But just like videos they need to be more precise and really explain either the video or animation. I guess a buyer could exclude animations or videos from search results and get a more accurate hit. And, yes I'm sure I have some bad keywords, and I have been going back and trying to clean them up to be more descriptive. If we all dig deep into our keywords and make them more accurate we will all sell more.
