Upscale my video size

Can I upscale the video that I render for sale on Pond5?  For example, if I have a video with 1080p resolution, after I edit it, I render it to 4k resolution.  Can that be done?

Sure it can, but it’s not wise as the quality will suffer and I’m sure Pond5 has rules against doing it.
Or they should if they don’t already.

why do you want to kid the buyer?? it's pretty easy to see if the footage has been upscaled from hd to 4k...in this case the footage can be returned and the buyer will never buy from you again...

Alright friend, thanks for the advice. That's why I asked this first before I did the edit. Incidentally, I got a lot of old files that are still HD. Once again, thank you friends.
