Photos marked editorial in curator notes are uploaded on commercial license

See title, but have a significant amount of photos that are marked commercially, but were uploaded with the note that they are editorial. Is there a way to have them changed?

I have had the same thing happen several times. In one place on Pond5's website they ask you to put a note if you want it to be editorial only, yet on another page they say you don't need to as the curator will make that decision. However, I think it should be up to us, as we know where we took the footage/photos and whether it was private or not, where we were standing, if we paid on entry, and all other reasons why it may or may not need to be editorial only.

I suggest you write to Pond5 support and ask it to be changed on your photos. Personally I've left mine as they are as it's actually the publisher's responsibility anyway rather than ours (that's my understanding at least).

Thank you. Will think about what I will do.

Perhaps it is actually commercial? I have not seen this before as an issue for anyone, I just looked at a few of mine, no issue. Can you post a link to the image you feel is editorial? I looked t your portfolio and couldn't find an image that was marked as commercial that wasn't. Pond 5 does this for us, you have no way to select editorial, most other sites make you do it. I love pond 5 for this. :)

I can't find any rhyme or reason why the curator is marking my clips as editorial only or good for commercial. Sometimes, a scenic shot with no property or people is marked editorial only. Other times, shots that have people (with no releases, but probably not identifiable like in wide aerial shots) are marked commercial. I suspect that clips not marked for commercial are sold way less. Can anyone explain?
