My portfolio is over 200, wen I search for me it's says 196, people only see 30

I think titles says it all, how come potential buyers can't see my work? 0 downloads is there something I'm ment to be doing? It's starting to get upsetting

You only have 200 out of 1.5 million footage here. You also started to upload in Dec 2012 and many are from March 2013. You have a long wait to make any real noticeable sales with that kind of odds. Your footage although good is pretty normal everyday subjects, not a lot of need by a lot of buyers. Try to brighten them up some, find subjects that are not ten thousand deep already. Anyone who thinks they will make immediate sales in stock needs to be a lot more patient. When you get a few thousand then maybe you will see a regular income. A few hundred just doesn't make the cut unless they are absolutely perfect and great subject matter.

Good luck but be patient my friend. Don't watch the views, they are not updated enough to be of any real value. I have lots of sales, sometimes multiple sales with no views. I lived in Melbourne when a teenager. Someday I need to get back and see how things have changed. Fairdinkum, keep working at it ;)

Thanks for the advice, you have heaps of great clips! It's hard with a full time business to find time to shoot. 200 I guess I'm on the way. I started shooting late last year, a friend of mine makes a full time income doing stock photography through IS, told me to give video ago. I've got the same portfolio with SS, with close to 100% approval status. IS is a struggle with batches still pending from last year and only 4 online. And some rejected. At the moment doing something I love stock video to make an income would be great. So I don't have to shoot as many weddings. Melbourne is great, swing past for a visit :). At the moment I'm using a hacked gh2 to shoot. It's hard for a newbie to start. But with hd footage, I guess no better time than to start now. I guess photography must be harder as the competition is a lot higher on all sites. Hope I'm on the right way
