HOW TO SELL VERY FIRST PHOTO ON POND5

Hi I am new to Pond5, please give me some trick & tips for my photos to start selling.

there are no tricks, just upload thousands of good quality images and hopefully someone will buy some

Accurate keywords and captions are vital. You must include all relevant words in both. With plants and animals, use the Latin names as well as common names. With food, state where it's sold if relevant. With landscapes, give the location, country and season.

It's not just a case of uploading as much as you can. If buyers can't find them, they'll never license.

Pond5 isn't known for images as much as video, but I would like to think that may change some day if the main image agencies don't improve and start treating contributors better. I think Pond5 are missing a trick with images to be honest.

As was mentioned pond5 isn’t known for photos. So you may sell some here but chances are low to make much money.
Since Shutterstock owns pond5 I guess you could also upload there. They started in photos and went to video so more well known for photos.
But the caveat is they decide price and you’ll get maybe 10 cents for a sale.
Of course there are other sites that pay more for photos but you asked about selling at pond5
