Wrong PayPal Email

Hello,
Does anyone know what happens if a payment is made to the wrong PayPal email address?
It was my first payment and I didn't realize I'd be paid when my balance went above $25. So I didn't update my PayPal email address in time to be paid.
My balance went to zero on the 16th but I haven't received any money. I tried contacting Pond5 through the finances section and the "contact us" page but I haven't heard anything yet.
Do you think the money's disappeared, or should it get put back onto my balance eventually.
Thanks in advance....

Do you know who's email it is? Ask them if they got it.
If its a legitimate email address someone has it. I would also contact Paypal and ask them to look into it.

Thanks for the quick reply. It's my old email address and it doesn't work any more. I just get failure notices if I try to send to it. So it doesn't look like anyone else has got the payment.
I contacted PayPal and they told me the payment would just fail. They also told me to forward info from them about failed payments to Pond5, which I've done. But I guess it must happen quite often...

it probably happens a lot, P5 should easily be able to fix it.
