2 gb limit for 4k files is too low

Just a thought with 4K files I believe the 2gb limit just isn't enough. There will be a substantial loss in quality which I don't feel the end user should have to deal with.

I agree, I have to make many clips shorter than their HD counterparts.

Just heard P5 agrees and have increased the limit for 4K material.... great that they listen.

How long are your clips? I usually get stock to come in under 2GB for 4K and the quality is high. Of course I tested a whole bunch of various settings until I found the "sweet spot".

I use pjpeg for my clips at 96%. Below this quality, things just don't look good. At this quality, the max length below 2GB is 10-22 seconds, depending on the scene. Most of my HD timelapse clips are greater than 30 sec.

What will the lowest price point be for 4k? And at what point will a file be considered 4k?
