I have been looking at this for a while at b&h http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=994374&is=REG&Q=&A=details
If your thinking about buying this here are some examples of what it does.
This is the slowest it goes while panning and its a little choppy
This is the slowest it goes with tilt, This one is actually smooth.
Panning at medium to high speed is smooth, However the slowest speed is not slow enough, But the tilt is really good, I just wish they would make it slower.
Anyways I bought so now you dont have too. My opinion is, its just OK
here is one at medium speed, its really smooth on my computer, sometime the preview on Pond 5 makes it choppy.

Now here a self contained unit that will do everything pan, tilt, time lapse, slow or fast video in other words completely programmable. http://syrp.co.nz/
This was done using a slider.
Here's a pan/time lapse.
Speeds, direction, time lapse, video mode are all programmable in the unit itself. It also has a built in 12 hour li-ion battery. Cost 990.00 USD
