Item views/download count?

Thanks guys for all your information :) I had guessed that the comunity here would have some great awnsers, I must admit I am so happy that the forums here are active and alive! I'll be working on more tracks soon, super busy with PhD but will get some downtime to get writing! As it stands I am in my first week but have 7 cart adds, not sure if they will eventually translate to sales but heres to hoping!

Wow! Just had my first sale, in less than a week of signing up, looks like those cart adds really do translate into sales! Anyway, another question is, this item sold for $20 and I got $10 however I updated the prices a few days ago so it was $9.99 but I still got the old sale price, don't get me wrong I am not complaining, but wondering how long it takes for those prices to be updated? Perhaps the guy who bought it had it in his cart before I did the price change and thus P5 have to honor the original price?

The exciting part in your case is that your files were approved in less than a week, while the rest of us wait 4-6 weeks for video clips. It takes several days for the price database to completely update.

Why are you updating prices down? Those making the best profit here have raised their prices. It really does take 6 months to a year before changing prices makes any sense. A couple weeks or even a few months is not long enough to get any kind of valid statistic about sales potential. Don't hurt yourself and run to the bottom. If you got a sale that fast the original price is probably too low. Good luck.

Well while talking about price I had lowered them to fall in line with another stock sites prices, but this morning changed them again and tripled them, $29.99 a track, not sure if that is still too low or high? The same work sells for $17 on another site, so its still nearly double that, any thoughts? I will point out now, I am will you on the price thing, I feel my work is of good commercial quality to the price should reflect that.
