3D Models of Molecular Structures

Currently i am in the process of creating 3D models (in Lightwave .lwo and Wavefront .obj format) of molecular structures and molecules.

each atom is scaled to 1,000,000,000 x, so that the model's atomic radii are proportional in millimeters to what the atomic radii is in pico meters.

each atom in the model is colored according to the Jmol color scheme.

whats included:
1) shaders for each atom
2) a .lwo file with the actual mesh
3) a .lws file with the setup used to render the preview images
4) a .obj file
5) a .mtl file (materials file for the .obj object)

so far, i have several basic molecules, such as CO2, up on pond5.

I am working on more complex molecules, such as amino acids, and i hope to have them online within a few weeks.

is anyone looking for a 3D model of a specific molecule? if so, please post here letting me know the name and/or the molecular structure (i.e. CO2 for carbon dioxide) and i will get started putting them together. i should be able to submit the model for review within 48hrs of getting your post. it seems like pond5 puts the 3D files online about 1 week or less from submission for review.
