Pic profiles on FX1000

I almost always shoot at 30P in PP4 mode which is the Cinama 2 mode. Should I be shooting in something a bit more neutral.

I shoot in 60i, whatever default is. I do all my stuff in post. I haven't really played with the settings yet.... will soon though.

Yoy and use the profiles with 60i, 30P or 24P. FYI if its a real dark subject try dropping down to 30P you can shoot at 1/30 of a second which will allow you to crank the gain down a bit.

Do you do this on the same tape? I didn't know what happened if you switched between 30p and 60i on the same tape, how the capture software will handle.

24P and 30P get recorded at 60i. You have to use your NLE to pull the 30P out. Not that big a deal. I have mixed in the past but now almost always record in 30P.
