The consensus around here is you will see consistent sales when you get a portfolio size around 500 clips (maybe different for CG). I found my sales started when I had 130 clips in my portfolio and became better as I uploaded more.

Aye.. Portfolio size and quality are the key. With over 150,000 clips online if you have a small portfolio, buyers may never see your clips.

I wasn't complaining about low sales and I'm aware I can't expect a lot with just a few clips online. I was just saying I don't think I can observe any meaningful changes with just a few sales per month. No matter if I set prices to $10 or $100 I will still get "just a few" sales.
Maybe someone with a bigger portfolio would be able to get some results by changing the prices.

I get frustrated with the 'set price for me', and I quit doing it. They were low ballin all my stuff :-P

my last batch was approved and all clips priced at $25. :-)

Things like this CGI waves loop:

Pretty much everyone has done the CGI waves thing... :)

I think a $20- price hurts everybody here. Nothing that's true HD should go for less then $50-. If you don't think it's worth fifty bucks, don't bother to upload it.

Things have changed since I posted this.
Now I'm getting $40-$50 from the reviewers :-)
