Software Transcoder that Plays h.264??

It doesn't do in/out points in step one on non GP footage but it sure does in step two. Just run a canon clip through.

Don't you have to transcode in step 1?

I have IN/OUT points in Step 1 "Import & Convert" with canon footage but I use the Studio Premium version for mac.

Yes Gene I transcoded in step 1 and set in/out in step 2.

Daniel I'm using the free GP Studio no need for Premium.

Well that's it then, as I noticed no difference in the Step 1 between the free and Premium version, and the guy at Cineform confirms this, so Daniel you are getting away with it, good for you. I'm not willing to transcode the whole clip, which is why I want the in/out points.
