Software to organise videos

Can anyone recommend some database software to organise my stock footage?
I'm looking for something much like Apple Aperture or Adobe Lightroom does for still photos. (I use Aperture).
I'd like to add keywords and comments directly into the software before I upload to Pond5. Also to be able to find my own footage by typing in keywords.
I've looking at Microsoft Expression Media because I have a good experience with its former incarnation - iView Media Pro.
I suppose iPhoto (Mac only) now supports video but it's perhaps a bit amateur.
There is also Adobe Bridge.
Any suggestions?
