Very happy to report that It has since been resolved and I'll be having a skype chat this week with someone from support about rolling out some changes in the future that would allow all stats and search engine rankings to transfer over properly. Until then, HOLD OFF. I have to give a huge credit to Mike P from support for successfully resolving what appeared to be a lost cause initially - so a BIG thanks to him.

As for price changes, I've updated my prices frequently with no issues. I've also never noticed any detrimental effects from changing tags or description but after this fiasco, I probably won't touch anything for a while just in case!
