Incorrect "Files" number on Dashboard

Is anyone else experiencing an incorrect number of "files" listed under their profile. I've been stuck at 65 for months, while I have 400+ currently, through multiple uploads. I've been told it's a "bug" in the system. Curious if the bug is elsewhere. thanks!
