Biggest Little Railway (Channel 4, UK)

Hi

A few weeks ago (I've been rather busy lately and almost forgot to mention this) I was watching the Biggest Little Railway on Channel 4 on Sunday 28th January (here in the UK). I noticed they used a lot of stock now-and-then with some narrative on a few historical points. I was just thinking it would be interesting to see some of mine go up on there, as I'd sold a very short clip of the Dduallt Loop on the Ffestiniog Railway, back in late September (filmed a few years ago actually). Then in the documentary they started building a spiral loop... of course I'm thinking that this could be the one. And sure enough, there is (some of) my extremely short (and rather bumpy) clip from a carriage window of the Loop. Quite extraordinary I suppose that I happened to be watching it; there are a lot of documentaries, mostly from the BBC or ITV, on the railways of Wales, so I didn't expect to spot it (especially live on the first day of broadcast). A good hit for me there.

It's quite likely that some of their other stock clips were also from Pond5, although I haven't looked for them. Anyone else spotted their clips in mainstream documentaries recently?

Interesting page about how they made the series:

DocuWiki has some good technical specs including the broadcast codec:

1.5M people watched it according to ThinkBox (a good source if you want to see which documentaries are popular in the UK, if that's what you aim your media at).
