Search results???

Ok what's happening. When I do a search for "military" and using default settings, the first over 21 pages of results are noise and music before the fist video clip shows up. Why??? I know many want to buy and sell sound but pushing video back that far is way out of acceptable. Video is still the top selling and deserves a better search result.
Is anyone else getting this kind of results?

When you type something in the search box, a popup shows you the different selections for what you search for.
I uncheck "sound, music, sound effects" and only video shows up.
You can also check the different format you want and if it's a model released video.
Do you see that box?
I would hope most users know what they are looking for and uncheck the boxes they don't want to be included in the search.

Ya I see the check boxes but still having 21 pages of audio before any video shows up is way out of balance. Until a new buyer comes back time after time and learns how to use P5 all they will see using "military" is audio and will go elsewhere.
I'm not complaining about the noise artists, there is a great value in music, noise and video. This one example area is not the best way to sell anything.

Hmmm..
when I unchecked audio I only see videos . But that is a concern if buyers don't know how to use the site..

Yes - this is probably a bad thing. A person shouldn't have to un-check anything - on the contrary, checking a box would be considered a refined search. Hence, by default it should show "stuff or media" in a more generic mix. Of course when everything is unchecked - one gets the same result. But I tried a couple of other keywords and most of them show vids - (example: bird - which would possibly have a bunch of sounds or car - same.) I don't know why "military" comes back with so much sound fodder.

Looks like it probably has to do with the keywords. The sound files have military right at the top of the list, while the video clips don't, so they would be the most accurate match for that particular search. If you search for soldier, army, navy, air force or war you get video clips. If you search for warfare though you're back to the audio, as warfare is second in the list of keywords behind military on the audio clips: "sound effects military warfare air raid alarm all clear siren loud powerful "slow motion" "
Don't know what "slow motion" is doing there.
